New record obsession (3 records in one) with incredible Brazilian artists + international collaborators.
This specific song was my special song with dad growing up. He used to call me “little lion” meaning: leãozinha (o)… because… I guess… I was a bit wild (oh, such news!) The song was originally written by Caetano Veloso (one of my favorite Brazilian singer-songwriters). The entire album is a road trip across Brazil, even if it’s imaginary. There are collaborations such as Beck + Seu Jorge // Of Montreal + Os Mutantes // David Byrne + Caetano Veloso ….seriously, one of the best music purchases I have made in like…AMAZING!
