“As a child, I felt like a changeling at odds with the planet I arrived on. I didn’t understand the world I was born into, and that feeling of dissonance colored my youth. I saw that rigidness existed, and as a result, for me, rigidness got a bad name. Looseness was far better. And I gravitated toward a different life.” Tilda Swinton

Oh, you know…
I’m just going over there for a swim in my modernly geometric pool with my diamonds and my parrot that mimics my last husband.
Jokes aside…this photograph is divine.

I’ve never been in style, so I can never go out of style. - Lillian Gish

Lillian Gish was an actress most popular in the 1910s and 20s (though her career continued up until the late 1980s when she starred in the Whales of August the trailer for which ran after the “little hershey’s kisses” ad on The Princess Bride VHS). I’m falling absolutely head-over-heals for her adorable little face.

Briefly in Sonic Youth’s “Sugar Kane” video, then more fully as the HIV-infected Jennie in Larry Clark’s harrowing “Kids”; Chloe Sevigny has captivated with a unique mix of steely toughness. Through all this, she’s been embraced by the fashion world for an effortlessly cool and idiosyncratic style. A love of dress up and thrift-shopping started as a young girl..and so my admiration to her. Sevigny started in the Fashion Industry by designing a collection for New York boutique, Opening Ceremony in 2007 which proved an instant hit since…
