Spirited Magazine “$” Live Installation*
Fourth Wall Project 132, Brookline Ave, Boston MA 02215**
July 29th, 2012 8:00pm to 12:00am
Spirited is a dialogue between art, fashion and literature. Each issue is highly conceptual and features stories from different authors centered around one particular theme. It’s a space where innovators can experiment and encourage you to engage this project on a deeper level. Spirited is pleased to announce the sixth issue with a live installation that will feature artists and collaborators whose works are included in the “$” Issue, Summer 2012. We created images and stories about value, possibilities, poverty, gold and imagination in a world of Time and Money.
The artists are: Raul Gonzalez, Brendan Coyne, Jessica Ginsberg, Baby Angel, Geoff Hargadon (Cash for Your Warhol), Alexa Guariglia, Joey Asal, Vela Phelan and Jordan Harrison.
The evening will also include sound performances by Magzilla, Bathaus and visuals by HEXbeam. Art Performance by Dead Art Star. Literary Readings by our featured poets: Ben Mazer, Philip Nikolayev, Miguel Miró-Quesada, Whit Griffin and Jeffrey Taylor.
Open Bar sponsored by Drambuie.
Photobooth by Covetous Creatures.

“For the release of their latest issue, Boston’s Spirited magazine threw down a party worth writing home about, or at least talking into a tape recorder about. Befitting the issue’s noir theme, Spirited chose to have a Twin Peaks soirée at Yes.Oui.Si., and though most people seemed to interpret the costume requirement as a cue to dress with 1940s class (my fear that there’d be other people dressed as Log Lady was largely unfounded), everyone looked lovely and the pie — there was pie — tasted lovelier.”
My Royal 60s typewriter made a special appearance to our guests at Spirited’s Noir Party. So much love and beautiful words…
Sight of our guest book - typewriter phenomenon at Noir Generation Reception.
Thank you all for the wonderful messages…they’ll go up on our studio wall!
